lIintsimbi zokuqinisa iikhabhathi (i-carburizing)
Iintsimbi zokuqinisa iikheyisi liqela leentsimbi ezinekhabhoni ephantsi apho ummandla wobulukhuni obuphezulu (yiyo loo nto igama elithi ukuqina kweekheyisi) uphuhliswa ngexesha lonyango lobushushu ngokufunxa nokusasazwa kwekhabhoni. lIintsimbi zeNitriding
Iintsimbi ezifaka i-nitriding zinokuba nobunzima obuphezulu bomphezulu obuphuhliswa kukufunxwa kwe-nitrogen, xa zibekwe kwindawo ekhupha i-nitriding kumaqondo obushushu aphakathi kwama-510-530°C, emva kokuqina nokuthomalaliswa.
